Psychotherapy for adolescents:

The world our teens are navigating today is complex, confusing, and at times completely overwhelming. Psychotherapy for adolescents is a specialized form of therapy designed to address their unique emotional, cognitive, and developmental needs. Through a variety of evidence-based techniques such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, and somatic psychotherapy, teen clients are able to explore and express their thoughts and feelings in a safe and nurturing environment.

I will work collaboratively with you and your teen to help them understand and manage their emotions, develop coping strategies, improve social skills, heal from traumatic life events, and build self-esteem. By building a trusting relationship in therapy, teens can feel empowered to navigate challenges, build resilience, and foster emotional well-being.

As a therapist who has worked in outpatient and school-based settings providing child and adolescent therapy, I can provide the support and guidance necessary to help your child thrive and overcome obstacles in their lives.
